The second EUSALP AG6 meeting took place last week in Innsbruck and was organized as a “Going Green Event Tyrol”. Representatives of ministries and regional governments met together with civil society and research experts to work on the finalization of the work program of the Action Group 6 “Preserve and valorize natural resources, including water and cultural resources” and its three main sub-topics: Spatial development and soil conservation, future oriented farming and forestry and integrated and sustainable water management.
Fruitful discussions and an active exchange among the stakeholders allowed achieving a big step towards the formulation of concrete activities to be included in the work program. The stakeholders also adopted the Rules of Procedure for the Action Group. Valuable inputs for cooperation were given by the representative of the Alpine Space Program, Primoz Skrt, and by the project partners of approved and ongoing Alpine Space Projects Links4Soils, SPARE, AlpFoodway and AlpES.
