Six years after the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana became the first Slovenian Infopoint of the Alpine Convention, the Permanent Secretariat and the Infopoint are happy to reaffirm their cooperation for another three years. This is already the second time the cooperation has been extended.
A short signing ceremony was held to formally acknowledge this continuation. The ceremony was attended by the director of the museum Aljaž Pogačnik, Secretary General of the Alpine Convention Alenka Smerkolj, chair of the Permanent Committee of the Alpine Conference under the Slovenian Presidency Emil Ferjančič, and the mayor of Kranjska Gora, where the museum is located, Henrika Zupan.
“Our Infopoints are extremely important for bringing the Alpine Convention to life on the ground. They not only help raise awareness and spread the ideas of the Convention but also strengthen its relation to local communities. I would like to thank the entire team of the museum for their dedicated contributions to our common goals and for enriching the Slovenian and international Alpine area,” said Secretary General Smerkolj.
