Forests and Green Economy: were discussed today in Santo Stefano di Cadore Today, 28 June 2018, in Santo Stefano di Cadore, Italy, the Italian Delegation organized the thematic Workshop “The Silviculture in the alpine forests - green economy and functions of environmental protection” with the support of Veneto Agricoltura, the order of agronomist and foresters of the Belluno Province and other local institutions.
The Workshop aimed at investigating the role and the awareness of the silviculture of the Alpine forests for green economy, the protection of drinking water, and climate change effects as well as the problems and perspectives linking with the silviculture and the sustainable economy in this filed. In this occasion, the third meeting of the Mountain Forests Working Group has been organized.
