Wildlife in the Alps

The Alps are home to 14 million people and a haven for wildlife comprising some 30,000 animal species and 13,000 plant species. Therefore, the 9th edition of the Alpine Convention photo contest focused on “Wildlife in the Alps”. We would like to thank all the participants for the lovely pictures we received. Unfortunately, only 13 of them could win. Besides of eternal glory, their pictures will be published in the 2019 Alpine Convention`s calendar. The winning pictures of the Photo contest 2018 are shown below.
