Reading Mountains Festival 2019

For the 5th year in a row, the Alpine Convention paid a tribute to Alpine literature on International Mountain Day by means of hundred festivities that took place across and beyond the Alps! Our Reading Mountains Festival is a special opportunity to celebrate the cultural diversity of the Alps – its many languages, different, yet similar cultural heritage and its arts in all shapes and forms. Throughout the past editions, the event has grown into such a great success that we could only have hoped for.

I wholeheartedly want to thank the Secretariat, our Info Points, the hundreds of local volunteers, authors and musicians, bookshops, libraries and schools who made the heart of the festival and that of the audience beat faster!
