Reading Mountains Festival 2024

Featuring more than 110 events across the Alps, this tenth edition was the biggest so far and a very special one! Celebrating International Mountain Day on 11 December 2024, the many events in this anniversary edition helped raise awareness about the importance of mountains and brought together people from many different backgrounds and regions.

Such an anniversary is only possible with strong partnerships and a shared vision of Alpine cultural heritage. More events also meant that more visitors had the chance to participate and join the cultural exchanges. Therefore, my heartfelt thanks to all our partners and the participants who helped make this anniversary special!

I look forward to continuing our cooperation in the next edition of the Festival.
